Fidelity Health Care Earns High Rating

Fidelity Health Care has been rated by Home Health Compare, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS)-sanctioned agency that oversees home health care quality, with a 4.5 (out of a possible five) “Quality of Care Star Rating.”  

Ratings are calculated based on process and outcome measures:

  • timely initiation of care
  • education on all medications provided to patient/caregiver
  • influenza immunization received for the current flu season
  • improvement in ambulation
  • improvement in bed transferring
  • improvement in bathing
  • improvement with pain that interferes with activity
  • improvement in shortness of breath
  • acute care hospitalization.

A rating of four or above indicates that the agency performed better than other agencies on the above-noted criteria.  Nationwide, most agencies earn three to 3.5 stars.
